DETROIT – Fueled by sales of the Enclave and Encore luxury crossovers, Buick retail sales were up 19 percent year to date and 10 percent from April 2012, while total sales were up 23 and 11 percent respectively – marking 12 consecutive months of year-over-year retail sales gains and the best April since 2005.

The turbocharged Verano uses an Ecotec 2.0L four-cylinder engine with direct injection and continuously variable valve timing to produce an SAE-certified 250 horsepower (187 kW) at 5300 rpm and 260 lb.-ft.
